General Information

  • Date: Wednesday, April 3 thru Sunday, April 7, 2018
  • Location: Embassy Suites and Convention Center, San Marcos, TX
  • Room Block: Deadline for getting a discounted room rate is Friday, March 8th
  • Saturday Night Banquet: Banquet Tickets may be purchased online when you register or afterwards by contacting Ken Walker at kenswalker@gmail.com.  Meal prices are $48.00 per person.  Deadline for banquet tickets is Sunday, March 31.  A headcount has to be turned to hotel on April 1nd.
  • We will have a guest speaker this year at the banquet.  Guest TBD
  • Hotel Parking Fee: There is no additional charge for parking at the hotel.
  • Security: Armed off-duty Deputy Sheriffs will be on-site Wed-Sat nights from 9pm-7am.

  • Harris Hill Track Day is Thursday, April 4th from 12:30-5pm. Mandatory Driver’s Meeting at 12:30pm
  • Parade Lap/Track Photos will be taken at 5pm April 4th at Harris Hill Raceway.
  • Eric Lyczak has made arrangements for DYNO testing in New Braunsfels on Friday, April 5th starting at 9am. This is by appointment only.  Two pulls for $60.  Print with HP, Torque, and Air/Fuel ration at WOT will be available. Please contact Eric at elyczak@aol.com or 309-838-2818 for details and RSVP.
  • Tailgate Party and Hamburger Cookout Friday Night 6:30ish Weather Permitting
  • Any funds that are raised during the event (above the costs of putting on the event) will be donated to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Carroll Shelby Foundation.

TCC Parking area:  We have designated parking for attendees of our event.

  • There will be staff on-hand to usher you to the appropriate parking area and parking spot. Parking at the hotel is at a premium so anyone not wishing to follow our parking instructions will be asked to leave the event (registration fees will be refunded.) This hotel has been very generous will the parking arrangement and we cannot afford to abuse their courtesy and hospitality.
  • NEW THIS YEAR: There will be a designated area for registered attendees wishing to participate with non-Cobra vehicles. “Cobra” being defined as a 1962-1967 (Authentic or replica) Cobra, GT-40, or Daytona Coupe. Our event is open to all automotive enthusiasts but we would like to segregate by type of cars.
  • Nightly Security will be provided for all parking areas.
  • There will be no reserving or blocking parking spots at any time during the event.
  • Trailer parking is on a first-come, first-served based. Once the close-in lot is full, we will instruct you to additional parking areas.
  • There is designated parking for open trailer in parking lot near the frontage road. Please park your open trailer diagonally and disconnect your tow vehicle. Park you tow vehicle in a regular parking spot.
  • If you choose to park your trailer and tow vehicle in the main area, it will be difficult to move your vehicle before the end of the meet.  We pack the trailers into the allotted area very tightly.  You will have access to your trailer for nightly storage but please do not expect to be able to move your tow vehicle once parked.
